Velocity Links Hub stores the links you save so you can get them back. We do not run ads, do not use third-party analytics or trackers, and never sell or share your data.
What we store
The groups and links you create: title, URL, group, and favorite state.
Your grid or list view preference.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in chrome.storage.local on your computer. It is not sent to a server. There is no account and no cloud sync.
Browser permissions
storage — keeps your links, groups, and preferences on your device.
sidePanel — opens the hub from the toolbar.
New tab override — shows your hub when you open a new tab.
The extension does not read page content, keystrokes, or your browsing history.
Third parties
Favicons may be loaded from the destination site or a public favicon helper using only the domain of the link you saved. Ask AI matches your prompt against a catalog bundled with the extension — it does not call a remote model.
Your choices
You can export all of your data as JSON, delete any link or group at any time, and clear the extension's storage from Chrome's extension settings. Uninstalling the extension removes your hub data on that device unless you exported a backup first.
